question about new messenging feature

I read where the Zone now has a system where a Zone user can text someone's cell phone, and if that person replies, their message will be sent to my email account... My question is how does this work with my cell phone plan? Like, will I get charged a text messenging rate if I use this feature and reply to messages etc.?? Thanks, Katie

well, if depends if you can recieve text messages with your cell phone. Most people i know have something on there plan where you pay 5 bucks a month and can send 200 texts a month. i think it's like 10 cents for each text recieved or something.

Yes, it will cost someone to receive messages, depending on there plan they have with there provider.
It does not cost you, the zoner to send or receive replies.

No, for the zoner, sending and replying is free. As the others have said however, it does cost if one doesn't have it on their plan. We'll be adding new carriers over time for out of the US text messaging, hopefully. No garontees though.

I'm not sure I understand how this works. Let's say someone were to send me a message. I would get it on my cell phone and wouldn't be able to read it, since my cell does not read text messages outloud? What is the point? Then it would cost me to receive the messages via text?

i think not.
but for selecting sms gateway.
you can dow this in two ways.
1:
via the /j sms gateway
2:
via the link on the main menu.
when you there:
you must select the phone provider, t-mobile, Sprint.
or whatever.
after selecting this, you must enter the number in digits.
